I had a colonoscopy eight months ago to remove a 6.5cm polyps from my colon. This was followed by a second colonoscopy last month to remove five smaller polyps from my colon and rectum. Recently, I have been experiencing stomach cramps in my lower abdomen and passing very loose stools five or six times a day. Is this normal or should I go back to my GP for a referral? Thank you.

@louis2026 I would definitely tell your Dr about the changes. Did they run blood work on you? Any changes in your diet or medications? I hope you find answers to it quickly.

I think you meant to describe a 6.5mm polyp (about .25 inch) removal - rather than a 6.5cm polyp (about 2.5 inches). And yes, discuss cramps and loose stools with your GP.

@louis2026, were you able to make an appointment with your GP to discuss your symptoms? How are you doing?
