Hi
May I ask what age you are? I was diagnosed September 2023. First surgery
was in December 2023. Second surgery for lymph nodes was in February 2024
and then radiation was in March end of March until April 2nd 2 weeks of
double hits. The doctor said I could have four weeks 20 rounds single or 10
days double hits. As I had to go out of town for this an hour away I chose
10 days I stayed at a hotel which was covered by the Cancer society I live
in Canada had to pay $33 a day which was nothing and it was three meals
very nice place. I was exactly one year with horrid fatigue but once I was
able to start exercising it lessened but I still feel an underlying
fatigue.

@sue417
I was 65 when first diagnosed in 2020.
I too lived more than 50 miles from my treatment center. They gave me 16 radiation treatments in 16 days. I guess they thought if it was drawn out with a lesser dose, that I would not complete it.
It was rough. My skin was raw by the end.
My sister had the same dose but hers was over two months time! She had no problems.
