Anybody achieve full remission within one year?

Yes one month crippling for me as well, could not dress, (tried 3bras before I could get one on)couldn’t do house work, get in bathtub, get myself out of bed or chair at times, open pill bottle .. and on top of that nausea, fluish but not exactly and fever and chills , .. and also live alone. Took 7 trips to Dr to get diagnosis. Prednisone stopped symptoms within a day.

@queenshort YES. I felt much much better 4 hours after my first shot of prednisone. The very cool doc who was treating me said that kind of reaction is diagnostic of PMR. A week later he was having fun with the miracle cure and he was acting angry at me that I was not needing his services any more. He threw me out in fun. That humor and joy was also curative imo.
