Thanks for sharing your story and I'm so sorry to hear you're still having trouble standing or walking. T10 through S1 is a huge number of vertebrae fused.

And I agree on PT. The most important step is finding a good PT, and then, as you note, exercises must be done faithfully. That requires determination and courage and patience.
