I have still from time to time get the same systems. Rough tongue and tiny partical on my tongue. I went to my ent and he said he could see nothing wrong but did give me some medication that did no good what so ever .......it cost $116,00. My sister in law is a director of pharmacy at a big hospital not far from here and her general opinion is that it is coming from my stomach in the form of acid. She suggested I try a dairy product called KIFER. I found it at Publix. I take it in the morning and at night and it seems to help. I also tried rinsing my mouth out with diluted proroxide with water, about 3 tablespoon of proroxide and about 1 cup of water. This also helps.
