I haven't had any responses here. I have been taking Nystatin orally and the thrush is nearly gone. The doc also prescribed amoxicillin prophilacticly to prevent a seconday infection. I am So much better. I also ate one whole kosher dill pickle each day.

Hi Gail, I'm glad you are doing much better. Sorry no one has jumped in to answer your questions. You mentioned you were looking for what foods one should avoid with thrush. I just did a quick search and found a little information on the Mayo Clinic website on oral thrush prevention - http://mayocl.in/2rwuWhR.

The Mayo Clinic oral thrush section also mentions the Candida cleanse diet and what it does which might be helpful

Katherine @katemnm, Teresa @hopeful33250 do either of you have any information on things to avoid in foods and medicines for oral thrush?

Thanks,
John

@gailb I am glad that you are doing better! Here is some info on this topic from the CDC http://bit.ly/2s8GIO6 At first glance there does not appear to be any information on foods to eat, etc. I am sorry that no one jumped in to answer your question earlier. Teresa
