Anybody achieve full remission within one year?

I found PMR to be absolutely crippling. I couldn’t do anything for myself, so I tend to assume others are the same, but good for you. I guess the condition can be milder for some.

I tend to see PMR as about as serious as being decapitated. Guess it isn’t always that bad.

Yes one month crippling for me as well, could not dress, (tried 3bras before I could get one on)couldn’t do house work, get in bathtub, get myself out of bed or chair at times, open pill bottle .. and on top of that nausea, fluish but not exactly and fever and chills , .. and also live alone. Took 7 trips to Dr to get diagnosis. Prednisone stopped symptoms within a day.
