@beachbabe Honestly, vitamins are not going to be nearly enough. At the very least, you need weight-bearing exercises.
That said, the D3 dosage is highly dependent on your blood test. Do you have a vitamin D3 number? To give one example, mine was 27, and after taking 4000 IU a day for four months, it doubled to 54. Other people are different. It's a trial-and-error thing. Unless you have a severe deficiency, you don't need to take 10,000 IU. If you had such a deficiency, better to discuss with your doctor.
