I just had a lumpectomy on 02/27/26 and then a revision to get clear margins on 03/11/26. The surgeon injected local anesthetic both times. I had some pain that was managed by Tylenol after the first surgery. The only time I've had pain after the second surgery is when I lifted too much. So follow the restrictions the surgeon gives you. My breast is still somewhat numb. That doesn't bother me because i was having a lot of breast pain before my surgeries. The biggest side effect has been fatigue. My tumor was larger than yours and my breast looks fairly normal to me. I'm between a B and a C cup. I have to be able to lift without restrictions at work so I'm not sure when the surgeon will clear me for return to work. Good luck to you!

Thank you ❤️

@babs28 Hello and hugs! Did your surgeon suggest any radiation or Letrozole treatment?
My Breast Team has surgery scheduled for me May 5 for lumpectomy 7 mm Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Er+ PR+ but HER-2 neg. 4 to 6 weeks after surgery I will have radiation for one week, then 5 years of Letrozole. Anyone else having all three for their tumor? Thanks and hugs to you all! Suzanne
