@pinkrose72 Hi! Slow to get answers on things, still nothing definitive yet. Should know for sure by next week however. Had to meet with my bariatric team in January like I mentioned before. Then I was referred to the surgery team in February. They decided they wanted some testing done. So after insurance approval and getting it scheduled, I just had my last text this am. I had an Upper GI endoscopy about 2 weeks ago. The surgeon had a few ideas afterwards but wanted the x-ray to be sure. He was thinking it was a hiatal hernia or part of the fundus from my sleeve that was left behind. Also the junction where my esophagus goes into my sleeve & the sleeve curves is kinda really narrow. So that's a big issue. The other possibility was bile reflux from having my gallbladder removed (in 2012?!). Today was an Upper GI X-ray. The radiologist today is thinking it's the narrowing of my sleeve causing the problem. So next week I get to find out what the plan is.
