Hi and thanks for reaching out. Yes I have started anxiety meds but unfortunately after 4 days I am discontinuing them at my own will. I was put on lexapro 10mg and I thought maybe since it was 4 days I could immediately quit but my doctor has informed me to spilt the pill and do 2 days of 5mg and if I like I can continue or quit.

@nlucas123 - yes, a taper is a good idea with most antianxiety or antidepressants. Did you have unpleasant side effects with the escitalopram (Lexapro)?
