@daylemaples Good to know you are able to do HRT with high LP(a) and early artherosclerosis. Would you mind sharing which tests helped you assess your risk tolerance and also which meds you previously took? Thanks so much.

@bluebonnet242
my story is complicated.beginning at 54 i took alendronate-holiday-fracture-foteo-reclast-holiday-prolia-rebound bone loss. dealing with that now.NOT recommending this sequence. I am fit and have always exercised and lifted weights. Now trying to deal with the rebound loss. Prolia is great for the older, frail, very high risk folks, only…. now i know. I have preventive cardiologist. did ApoB. Hb A1C, high sensitivity CRP. cardiac calcium score. Lp(a) is 262 the highest i have heard but now my total cholesterol is 70 and ldl-c is 54 on 5 mg rosuvastatin, zetia and EPA fish oil, vit C . all supported by literature. My cardiol not into supplements but I feel good, do high intensity workouts and will take the first drug coming out of phase 3 trials for Lp(a) hopefully this year. hope i didnt overshare.
