70 year old ex athlete. Played all sports and pro tennis. Thigh pain. Strong yes. Had 5 treatments of sbrt radiation and psa now of 0.07. Was 12. Orgovyx for 4 months and have every side effect known. From thigh pain to hot flashes, mood swings to no libido. They promise 2 more months to go. Trouble getting off the toilet because of the pain. But the wife says live with it you are alive and beat the cancer How right she is.

It may be too late to do anything about it but then again your testosterone is going to take a while to come back so leg pain may continue.

I take gabapentin to help with joint pain and it can also help with hot flashes. Ask your doctor about it.

@dmkplan, dealing with the side effects of cancer can make it challenging to constantly put on a smile and say "at least I beat the cancer." I'm sure you are grateful that treatment worked. Dealing with pain and other side effects remains hard.

With 2 months to go, I would request an appointment with a symptom management nurse or member of the palliative care team to discuss possible options to make you more comfortable. They may even suggest an appointment with a occupational therapist to visit you at home to find supports for mobility issues. For example, do you have a raised toilet seat? That might be a helpful temporary measure.
