How long did it take to finally get your Brinsupri meds?

@speeched100 I also have part D. My Pulmonologist prescribed it for me Nov 24th, and I had it in hand December 4th. My specialty pharmacy did all the work with my Part D plan getting approval. I refill monthly with only the specialty pharmacy at my hospital, and pick it up there. A pharmacist calls me monthly to check in, and record any feedback.

That’s great! Do you mind if I ask if you have UHC? Is the pharmacy connected with Optum Specialty? I’m just trying to figure out which insurance is better/best to have for this medicine. I have Humana Premier that made an exception and approved Brinsupri for me. My medicine is mailed from Amber pharmacy and has to be signed for due to the cost. Thanks and I’m glad you were able to get your medicine so quickly.
