I was diagnosed with Functional (Neurological) Movement Disorder Fifteen months ago after taking one Sertraline (SSRI) tablet. Overnight I had uncontrolled movements, extreme startle response and stuttering. I take 300 mg Gabapentin three times a day which for the most part keeps it under control. Obviously, this may not have happened to you, but it's something to think about. Perhaps you had a similar triggering event. I found that just knowing what was causing the movements and stuttering helped me mentally. I hope you find an answer to your problem.
