@justmeee I have a question do you have Arthrofibrosis? That is when you develop an over abundance of of scar tissue. I ask because I had had tkr 3 1/2 years ago within a year. I was having a revision with smaller parts which helped for a bit. But here I am 2 1/2 half years later back at 70 degrees flexion , extension off by about 15 degrees. I have done everything the dr said and more . I paid for myofacial release before and after surgery for a long time , tried acupuncture,. I honestly had a great team around me. But if if you have Arthrofibrosis nothing you do will matter . I would chat with your dr if this is possibility if it is may want to change strategy. I have not given up I have tell you just on surgery . Because surgery is not the answer for people like me that develops too much scar tissue .My dr put me in touch with a pt that specializes in Arthrofibrosis just started working with him. For me I had car accident last October that laid me up for bit was not able to exercise this is where I ended up . But I do believe I will get back to 90 and almost full extension. Look up more information about Arthrofibrosis maybe does not even apply to you ! Good luck in whatever you do just keep moving forward.
@ezas123 I am in the same boat with you with this scar tissue.Had a TKR last May. Needed manipulation done, then a knee scope . It only helped briefly. I even did shock wave treatments . I can feel it returning again. I am back to PT because of hip bursitis that I believe is from the knee problems. So frustrating I don't know what to do next . like you surgery is not the answer.
