well dont have to make the decision today but I would say book it..( but with cancellation insurance) and you will prob know a few weeks out from trip date if you feel like it. If you are in good health, I suspect you will do fine and more importantly, I think it is good to not let PC interrupt your life too much...stay active. my biggest fear of anything is to become bed ridden..dont want to see that happen to anyone..so plan on making everything a GO !
