Hi Kenneth, and welcome to Connect.
It's difficult for the community to answer your important question about getting work with ataxia and brainstem lesions without know a bit more about you. Can you tell us a bit more about you and how you are doing?

For you, does the ataxia affect your coordination, walking, speech, fine motor skills, or ...? May I also ask how old you are and what things you like to do most?

Yes,it affects everything.I am 49 years old,i have work all of my life.I was diagnosed with this in 99.It has gotten worse since 2012.I had apply for disability in 2012.They have denied me 5 times.A judge gave me 27 work limitations and still denied me.I have not work in 5 years.I have tremors,diplopia,vertigo,third nerve palsy,weakness,dizziness,cannot stand long and balance and coordination problems.Along with cognitive deficits and nervous system problems.
