68, I had a manual exam , he found something and immediately put me on Dutasteride ( I was going a few times at night) .. after 2 weeks to get an MRI and 2 weeks wait for result , I was relieved that he didn't see anything of concern ... almost immediately after starting dutasteride -if I did something a bit strenuous like walking up a hill ,I would get chest pain more like the worst heartburn of all time -though I wouldn't know ... THIS had never ever happened before - always kept in shape and exercised - my Urologists office NEVER returned my calls even after leaving detailed message ..it was shocking .. then it was obvious that it had shrunk my unit too after about 6 months , and in the meantime my regular Dr. told me " get off of it Now !" .. yes - after further idiocy I just quit that urologist .. , but I quit Dutas Nov 4 /25 and Mar 12/26 ,I'm still getting chest pain , although some days I don't ... Anyone have ANY info on this ?

I've been on Dutasteride for a while now and don't really know if it is helping or not. Can still pee with no problem but last cystoscopy showed a real garden in the bladder and prostate still expanding. Am thinking about Rezum but haven't talked to the surgeon yet as to whether it is a long term solution for stopping the prostate from continued expansion or a short term solution. I would like to hear from anyone who did the Rezum and what their opinion is on it's efficacy.
