Hi Dave,
I developed CIC when I was about 68 y/o - I'm 71 now. I think most of my CIC is due to some meds I take.
Motegrity is a drug that is supposed to improve motility. I suggest asking your GI Dr or PA about it. Beware - it's very expensive. I get mine from Cost Plus Drugs and a 3 month supply is approximately $45. You just need to open an account online and have your Dr send the Rx there. It's very frustrating. I still use a stimulant laxative, that I shouldn't use as much as I do. I'm trying to slowly taper back down and off that. But it's miserable to be bloated and constipated.

@heyjoe415 Have you tried Jigsaw magnesium? That has helped me! Take 3 or 4 at night
I am on Colestipol and that of course makes you constipated because I do have IBSd, and that has helped that situation, but it sometimes makes you too constipated.
