ErSO-TFPy human trials soon?

Posted by colely @colely, Mar 2 8:19am

The Hergenrother Laboratory, run by Paul Hergenrother, PhD, at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is continuing its work on ErSO-TFPy. In small breast cancer tumors in mice, that were ER positive, a single dose eliminated the tumors entirely with very little side effects. The compound has been registered to Bayer AG for further development towards human clinical trials. They may begin 2026!

Wow, I had no idea about this even being in the works. If it pans out, it really could be a huge game changer for ER+ breast cancer.
