Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with limited GPA last year and am currently struggling with a flare, as my first line of defense isn't working as well as I’d hoped. I am currently taking 20mg of methotrexate weekly along with 15mg of meloxicam and 1mg of folic acid daily to manage my immunity and pain. Despite this regimen, my ESR reached a record high of 83 in January, and I am experiencing persistent eye inflammation that has been confirmed as non-uveitis. My pain frequently migrates throughout my body, and for the first time, I have visible swelling in my ankle. Since I am still relatively new to this diagnosis, I am eager to hear about others' journeys and how you navigated similar challenges when your initial treatments weren't enough.

Hello, I was diagnosed with GPA about five years ago. I received pulse therapy with methylprednisolone and cyclophosphamide, and I continued taking steroids and additional medications regularly. Recently, since May, I started receiving rituximab and Octagam, and I began reducing my medications. I also experienced the symptoms you mentioned, but I am doing much better now.
What treatments are you receiving?
