I had terrible muscle aches for awhile. It turned out to be a side effect of the statin medication. Once I stopped the statin, I felt much better.

@tglatthorn I had the same problem with statins - plus extreme leg/thigh cramps - sometimes my leg would lock up in a tight cramp as I was walking on the road!
