@lookinup55 Hi RP, Congratulations on making so many healthy life style changes. It sounds like you have been working hard at getting in shape to improve your health. Have you discussed your concerns about the change in resting rate and pulse pressure with your doctor? If not, I encourage you to do this. A phone call to the doctor's office or an email through the Patient Portal might give you the answers that you need to make you feel more comfortable. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. @lookinup55 congrats on your hard work to lose weight and control your blood pressure. Yay! Checking with your doctor for answers to your questions is the way to go since he/she is the expert. My pulse pressure difference is quite large but my Doc thinks it is ok. Sometimes what is "normal range" for people without heart disease doesn't apply to us. Your Doc will ease your mind. Keep up the good work.
