I very lucky to recently be in Florida. My husband and I decided walk on a beautiful long pier on the Gulf. Admission was $1.00. But when I went to pay mine I was told it was free because I am on a cane! So--free for disabled folks. One dollar is a small amount, but I was as happy as if it had been huge cost! Ir was a beautiful walk. And my husband did not seem to mind that he had to pay! Anyway, this was a few days ago but I'll always remember this with gratitude--a lovely experience made more beautiful by human kindness.
