It helps me too bro!😎
Another experience I have had maybe a half dozen times also makes me curious if others are having similar instances.
I drove down to the post office in my hometown to drop off a package, as I parked the car everything around me started to look unfamiliar. I knew exactly where I was, but somehow couldn’t recognize anything on main street and wasn’t exactly sure where the post office was ( right beside me). The feeling left after 5 minutes or so but was very disconcerting.I have had the same experience in familiar grocery stores and wall mart. It seems the more external stimulus there is, people around, noise etc brings this on. Thankfully it only happens rarely. Once or twice while driving. Seems my mind can process only so much and goes into a “neutral “ mode. Regards, Ashley

@ashley43725 As a functioning individual with cognitive decline, i find myself being aware of the events that you mention.
Like you say not recognizing where you are, But yet it’s a familiar surrounding of years.
Mine too last about 5 ish minutes or so give or take and when my brain finishes rebooting, i get back on track.
But definitely aware afterward and during i think.
When im driving and that happens, i get a little scared sometimes.
In reality for me, it’s not that big of a deal that i forget where i am for a moment.
But i sure dont like it, feeling vulnerable.
Have an amazing day.
