My dental hygienist is also a breast cancer survivor. She says that AIs cause reduced saliva, and that can lead to dental problems, especially cavities. I'm guessing low saliva could also cause gum problems. I've had a number of broken teeth, but all before I had cancer. None since, fortunately. I'm guessing there's no solution except daily (or more) flossing and brushing and frequent cleanings. I have cleanings every 3-4 months--and yes, it's expensive but I'm hoping to keep my teeth!
