I don’t think anyone truly knows what causes brain tumors (other than if they are metastasized from a primary tumor)…?
There are SO many kinds and types of brain tumors. It’s rare but sometimes infants are born with a tumor 😩 Neuroblastoma is the most common in that case if I remember correctly.
I worked as a nurse for 43 years and was familiar with names of many different types but I had never heard of an ependymoma!
