I've asked my PCP on a number of occasions and always get the same answer: you are on the best treatment regimen, which is precisely why I came to this site. So, thanks again.

@sad43 If your A1C is low why change what is working? If the treatment still leaves you with a high A1c or you are suffering bad side effects, it might be useful to get a second opinion from another doctor.
