Do you have the ability to go somewhere else to get a second opinion?

It really does sound like you are in a situation where you need a second opinion from a center of excellence. The treatment just doesn’t sound right based on what you were saying they found in your prostate biopsy.

@jeffmarc Yes, I am seeking out other opinions. I've got an appointment with a lead at UCSF (I'm in the SF Bay Area). I've also reached out for some contacts at Stanford. Unfortunately these are taking time to get and I really want to get started. Is there a downside to beginning with the prescribed path (Eligard w/ Abiraterone & prednisone) and continue to research other treatments like alternative meds or even radiation/chemo?
