I just started having weakness in the 2 small fingers of both hands in January 2026. I don't have pain, but when my hands get cold (Canadian North here), i have pins and needles in them.
I have determined that the problem is either in my shoulder or cervical neck area. I am working with a chiropractor who is opening up the chest area and has given me some stretches to do that compliment his work. He does not "crunch" the spine like previous chiropractors, but works on muscles and nerves. I have some stretches of my own that I do daily for that and general body fitness. The weakness seems somewhat better and hasn't got worse. I have also eliminated "added " sugars, salt and oils, and doing a modified "intermittent " fasting to lower possible inflammation in my system. Easy Peasy😊

@greengold

Ulnar nerve neuropathy causes weakness and clawing in both the ring finger and pinky. I have experienced this and would suggest you see an orthopedic who would refer you to a neurologist to have a nerve conduction test done.

Thanks! I do not have weakness . I have electric shocks , like lightning bolts going through my arm and ring & pinky fingers. I went to the chiropractor- but no help. I do stretches snd yoga as well. I will check with my doctors more. It is terrible pain. Nothing i do is helping. Thanks!
