A Reclast infusion is pretty strong. Think about it: you only take it once a year, vs. a weekly Fosamax pill. I chose Fosamax because I don't like the idea of such a strong infusion; if you have a bad reaction, there's no turning back. Just my personal preference, but I feel like the risk/reward, for me, pointed me to Fosamax.

@njx58 I posted this discussion because I am taking Reclast after I am done with Forteo (versus Prolia). My question isn't whether I should take Reclast instead of Fosamax (been there, done that). My question is since I didn't have any side effects with Fosamax, does that mean I probably won't have any with Reclast either? Did you take Fosamax as your "lock-in" drug after an anabolic? I haven't heard of people doing that. It seems to be a choice between Prolia and Reclast.
