@jdbarr1 I had pain in the right anterior rib cage with intermittent radiation pain to the right side and abdomen . I also felt right sided shortness of breath. It started mildly and gradually worsened. I saw so many doctors, had every lab and scan done, and was told I was fine. After 5 horrible years of symptoms, I diagnosed myself. I had to ultimately get a pain doctor. I slept on my left side for 2 years because I could not sleep on the right, now my left is symptomatic
Please look at the groups. The symptoms of SRS are varied. Most patients have been dismissed by doctors for years, telling them “everything looks ok, it’s probably anxiety”. The symptoms of slipping rib syndrome are severe, real and have been poorly diagnosed. There are only approximately 100 doctors across the country that treat Slipping Rib.
