Hi there, I'm new here and had a pet scan yesterday and got my results today on my portal. Looking at it I'm a little confused and concern ar the same time. So after reading a lot of what other people have posted here maybe someone can help .
My results that I'm sharing is this..
( Mediastinum: Extensive AP window, precarinal, paratracheal subcarinal and bilateral hilar 1-2.5 cm hypermetabolic enlarged lymph nodes showing max SUV up to 6.7. A 1.2 cm hypermetabolic anterior mediastinal prevascular lymph node is noted. No mass) I'm not sure if the (1-2.5cm) is saying that its 1 lymph node measuring at 2.5cm, or is it measuring between 1cm to 2.5cm ? And and all this SUV stuff. Please help Tina
Thank you for reading

@angelbear1968 I hope you have an appointment soon with your medical team to help assess your test results.? Ive had countless PET-CT scans for my stage 4 cancer (coming up to 4?years in remission) and only once recently looked in my portal before the appointment. Never again. It scared the life out of me and it turned out I had nothing to worry about. Please make sure you get an expert opinion as soon as you can.

@angelbear1968, how are you doing? Have you had a chance to meet with your doctor to review the results of your scan? What did you find out?
