@waters, your symptoms are very similar to mine, with the foot and leg pain especially at night. A couple of years ago I was prescribed 300 mg of gabapentin; later a 100 mg Rx was added so I could incrementally adjust. Currently I'm taking 500 mg at bedtime only. It does help relieve that night time burning pain. My neurologist also prescribed 25 mg of trazodone as a sleep aid. That combination gets me through the night but when the meds wear off (about 6 or 7 hours after I take them) , it's like a switch was flipped, the pain is back and it's time to get moving. I do hope you can find similar relief.
