Good Morning, @firstbess and Welcome to Connect. I am sorry to read that you are experiencing blocked bile ducts. That happened to me when my liver disease was progressing. I remember the jaundice, nausea, and fatigue that I also experienced at that time. Once I did have a stent put in , but it slipped out of place and was removed and not replaced - I do not remember any details. However, my liver disease was a progressive one, and I did eventually need and recieve a transplant in 2009.

@firstbess How are your doctors managing your blockages? Have you been diagnosed with any liver disease, or is there another cause?

@rosemarya
I have not been diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma because all of my test have returned benign. There is a mass outside my bile ducts. The proposed treatment is a liver transplant. I have not decided on having a transplant. Current treatment consists of Stent placement along with biopsies , just finished my (5th) one.

@rosemarya
Can you share information regarding your transplant (ie initial hospital stay, recuperation after release, any help required for daily living, pain levels etc)
