@susanf8 The anxiety can be tough. It's so darn unpredictable. When bad, I have a muscle relaxer, I know its not for that but it helps a little. It passes eventually, thankfully.

Your advice on staying ahead of pain is excellent, thank you.

@leeb123 When I was facing a really tough surgery and had a lot of anxiety I talked to my GP. Her response was "well, luckily, I have a prescription pad". We talked about what I could be on short term that would help, and she prescribed something (I don't remember what). And it helped get me through the next month.

Would that be something that could help you?
