@nycmusic My sweet Mother, who I cared for the last five years of her life [Alzheimer's and Lewy Body simultaneously] remained as graceful and loving as she had been all our lives. I did a lot of volunteer work during those years and fell in love with many of the residents in Memory Care where Mother lived ... all of them funny a lot of the time and endearing.

@nycmusic I 'm sure you are right. My relative who was a narcissist and"fake" became a nice person to be around when she developed alzheimers.
