I was diagnosed with DCIS in 2002 the year my was a college senior. Two lumpectomies and 30 fractions of radiation later, I was finished with all treatments! I was 56 at that time. Through the years my mamos were clear. Then in 2024 my husband of 55 years filed for divorce, I was 77, and I was diagnosed with ILC!

@mimi09
MY DAUGHTER WAS A COLLEGE SENIOR
Can’t stand auto-correct

@mimi09 each story is valuable to the rest of us. Do you mind sharing what your ILC stage & tumor size were? I was diagnosed in August with ILC stage 1 & had a lumpectomy, 5-day radiation & I take half-dose (10 mg) of Tamoxifen. I'm 72 & so far so good. Sending best wishes to you!
