@gsf look up Dr Nissen at cedar Sinai in California.. he performs whipple with vascular reconstruction… we will be getting his opinion and was recommended to us from someone whose family member had this procedure done

@cwilliams34 Thank you for the suggestion. Dr. Truty also does the vascular reconstruction but, given what he told us about the increased risk of death and the ongoing side effects of the surgery, my wife opted to not have it done. I wish you luck with Dr. Nissen!
