@animallover25 I was diagnosed with Graves disease in 2015, during the initial diagnoses a small nodule was detected. I was prescribed propranolol and methamazole, told not to be concerned about the nodule that most of them are benign. in just over a year the Graves was under control and medication discontinued. Two years following I was diagnosed with Hashimotos and told all I could do is follow a healthy lifestyle, diet yoga ect., also have thyroid blood work done to monitor my levels, should they change than additional treatment would be necessary. I too have had many swallowing concerns, choking on small pieces of food. Recently in Jamuary I was at the emergency room for an infection and a cat scan revealed a mass of small nodules in the thyroid area, unrelated ro the infection, and I was told to follow up with my doctor. I have been without health insurance since Jan 2025. Thanks be to God, I will be insured in April thru my employer and will seek medical treatment. I wish you the best of health and will follow up with the treatment I will receive, if any and any additional information. One last note, when the Graves was active I lost a rediculous amount of weight in a very short time. I have since gained it back and would love to lose 20 pounds, other than that I feel pretty good. God bless and have a great day.
