My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 clear cell carcinoma. After surgery, he started losing movement in his right hand and foot, and it turned out to have metastasized to his brain. He's currently undergoing 5 out of 10 whole-brain radiation therapy sessions using 3D imaging, and he's going to receive immunotherapy with axitinib plus pembrolizumab. Isn't this risky? Has anyone else experienced this? Things got complicated because he had seizures, so we decided to start the radiation as soon as possible. He can move his hand better now, but I'm worried about the treatment.
