I’m doing a hyperbolic taper to slowly get off 40 mg of Celexa which I’ve been on for at least 25 years. A hyperbolic taper is a very slow taper to avoid side effects. I’m taking a liquid version of it so I can reduce very small amounts once a month. Just started in 1/2026. So far so good. I’m doing so in conjunction with a psychiatric nurse practitioner in case I develop a problem so I have her advice. It’ll probably take me more than a year, but if I don’t have any side effects, it’ll be worth it. Best of luck. Hope this helps.

@jchet That’s a great plan and I agree with slow tapers. It makes it tolerable. Best of luck to you. I’m sure you’ll do very well. Thank you for your reply.
