I know how you feel. Every day I wonder how I can live with a person who is so nervous and so negative it effects my entire life and the peace I used to feel around me.
But here we are...me 79 and that person 83.
What to do...live with it.

@jamiemj I can relate to you as my partner is also negative and bitter about the future. Ever since his stroke he has become angry at everything and everyone. His depression is palpable every morning. It’s hard not to be dragged down with him. He is 79 and his health is poor because of his mental state. I am 72 and in good health. I will not abandon him because that is my vow to him 42 years ago. I feel your despair and hope that you can take solace in the fact that you are not alone. Hugs
