Hi, Mike

John fowarded these two links to me a long, long time ago when I, too, was puzzled by the role of B-6 in this whole PN business:

--- What is the Difference Between Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: https://www.differencebetween.com/what-is-the-difference-between-pyridoxal-5-phosphate-and-pyridoxine-hydrochloride/

--- The vitamin B6 paradox: Supplementation with high concentrations of pyridoxine leads to decreased vitamin B6 function: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28716455/

These links (neither is a candidate for speed reading!) led me to further reading and several cnversations with my neurologist, ultimately convincing me that the B-6 in EBM's medicinal foods (pyridoxol P5P phosphate) is safe to take and quite possibly beneficial.

Cheers!

@ray666 Does this supplement require a doctor's prescription? Thanks!
