Recommendation for a VED

The pump that I was given after surgery is slowly dying. Do you have any models that you could recommend as replacement? Thanks!

Which one do you have ? (what brand)
I will have to check tonight when I come home what brand my husband uses.
It does not look fancy but it works for him nicely (so far).

This is the one I use. It has both manual and battery operated pumps. Works great for me.

Sorry for late reply - my husband's doctor suggested this one " Osbon ErecAid Esteem". So far it works well for his rehab.

If you're not familiar with Victoria Cullen's website called "A Touchy Subject" it's definitely worth spending some time exploring it. It deals with all sorts of issues related to post prostate cancer treatment and sexual rehabilitation. I've found a wealth of good information and videos that are very helpful. They are a ton of free resources on the site dealing with PCa therapy that most sites do not cover in as much detail.

She does evaluate the various FDA approved pumps on her site/channel. But, she has the most information on the Vacuerect pump. Benefits being that it is specifically designed specifically for post procedure PCa penile therapy, a ring system that doesn't suck in your bits below, its very simple to use and is actually not super huge compared to some of the FDA approved devices (better for travel and being discreet....but they do have a bigger one for people who need it)

If my docs eventually recommend a pump for me and healthcare will pay for it, I'll take the model they recommend. But, being proactive, I bought a Vacurect ahead of time and it does seem very appropriate for post treatment therapy. It cost $309, but I figure it's an investment that will minimize penile scarring and shrinkage post treatment.

She also has a free six day rehab program that provides a wealth of information. It's worth signing up for.

If you search her Youtube channel, you'll find lots of pump reviews....plus more information.

But I'd start first at her website.

Probably everything you would need to know on the Vacuerect, including a demo of proper technique.

Lots of other topics.

I actually emailed her with a specific question and she responded within one day with a really personalized email that was incredibly kind with lots of specific answers to my question. Considering she is Australia based and works with lots of clients, I was blown away that she took the time to do that.

Hope this is helpful!

I agree. Very solidly made and no issues at all with the manual model.
