Anyone Else Have Eyes Irritated by 7% Saline?

I have dry eyes but I also felt the saline mist was irritating my eyes. So I got some goggles that fit over my glasses and they keep any saline steam away from my eyes. I think it has helped.

I look pretty ridiculous: Goggles on eyes, headphones on ears, canula in nose (I am on oxygen), and nebulizer in mouth. My husband threatened to take a picture.

@irenea8 🤣🤣🤣Picture pretty please! If you can't laugh about this d^&*()# disease, you might cry.
Another thought - which nebulizer are you using? With my old machine, I put a flexible tube on the outlet side to make the varpor come out farther away from my face. With my new one, the Pari eFlow Rapid, it is finished so quickly it doesn't bother me.

@irenea8 Sounds like your husband has a sense of humor. Good idea! I have never had dry eyes and now, just got diagnosed with dry eyes last week. I've been nebulizing since November 2024 with 7%. Maybe I should try goggles? I have been coughing all day for the last 3 months and switched to 3% 2 days ago and though I still have my cough, it's improved by about 80%.
