Most recent diverticulitis event presented with very orange urine. Although my culture was clear, the doctor prescribed Flagyl and Cipro. I had every side effect rash, vomiting, and green stools in addition to the diarrhea and pain of diverticulitis. I later read that the inflamed colon lying against the bladder can cause urine discoloration. Has anyone else experienced this symptom?
