Long, long story about my son. I recently cut ties with my son and his family. I am moving on with my life. My blood pressure has dropped to normal. Overall it has been hard and painful. I have chosen my health.

Good for you! Your health is very important especially at a later age. That's wonderful that your blood pressure is back to normal! I'm 79 and feel the same way about remaining healthy. My husband died in 2024 and most of our friends are up in Heaven with him. I have a son but he hasn't contacted me in 20 years. I thought about contacting him because I was lonely but then I remembered the differences we had and I know my health would suffer if I contacted him. So I just gave everything up to God and it has worked out very well!
