I wanted to check in and see if either of you (or your father) ended up moving forward with TIL therapy. My husband is currently getting his final scans and appointments scheduled so he can begin the process.

He first tried immunotherapy (nivolumab + ipilimumab) in 2022, but had complications when it began affecting his liver. After that, he transitioned to targeted therapy with BRAF/MEK inhibitors (Tafinlar and Mekinist). He had clear scans for about 1.75 years, but unfortunately, the cancer recurred.

He’s now been on immunotherapy (Keytruda) for three months, but the cancer is still progressing.

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and any advice you might have to help us prepare.
